I want to share a quick testimony! One of my bigge I want to share a quick testimony! One of my biggest insecurities is being quiet. I felt invisible to people and ignored. I’ve been quiet for as long as I can remember, so I believed this was who I am. When I came to Christ, people told me that He would set me free from the silence. I wanted to believe them but nothing changed. I saw other people being set free from whatever was keeping them in chains ( addictions, fear, etc) and believed freedom was available to them but not for me. Lately, as I deepen my relationship with the Lord I don’t feel the need to be silent. It is becoming way easier to be bold. I’m no longer bound to this silence. By no means am I completely free of it, but a year later God is breaking chains. I feel comfortable in my skin; I didn’t think that was possible. I thought everyone just faked it til they made it. No amount of self help books or faking being extroverted could do what God is doing in my life. It didn’t come immediately, but God is so faithful. The Bible says that whoever the son sets free is free indeed! Freedom is available today.

I’m reading Joshua and a good portion of it is t I’m reading Joshua and a good portion of it is talking about tribal inheritance of the promised land. I was thinking why in the world would God want this in the Bible? It’s not the most fun to read; it’s about the boundaries of land that each tribe inherited, but then I thought this shows me how much God cares. God cares about every decision in our life and seemingly trivial things like who gets what part of the promised land. I think God wants to speak this specifically into our lives and be involved in our day to day decisions. It doesn’t need to be taken super literally like, “God should I go to McDonald’s today”, but what would life look like if we included God more in our little decisions?
Today God challenged me and reminded me that lovin Today God challenged me and reminded me that loving Him is a choice. Intimacy with Him doesn’t just happen because I desire it, it’s because I make the choice to love Him by spending time with Him out of a right heart and obey Him. I think God wants to take all of us deeper. We don’t need to get stuck on the surface level if we’ll just give ourselves over to Him completly.
